What is happening?

PLACES NOTICE OF VARIATION IN CAR
PARK CHARGES MADE UNDER SECTIONS
35C AND SECTION 46A ROAD TRAFFIC
REGULATION ACT 1984, AS AMENDED BY
THE PARKING PLACES
(VARIATION OF CHARGES) ACT 2017
TAKE NOTICE that East Riding of Yorkshire Council
is to suspend parking charges in all its Pay and Display
off street car parks and on-street parking areas
on Sunday 9 November 2025 in recognition of
Remembrance Day. Affected parking locations are:
Bridlington, Flamborough and Hornsea.
Parking charges will be suspended for the full day on
9 November 2025.
All other parking restrictions (eg double yellow lines,
disabled bays and loading zones) remain in force and
will be enforced. This variation is made in accordance
with Sections 35C and 46A for the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Parking Places
(Variation of Charges) Act 2017.
