(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 1987
(AMENDMENT NO. 56) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on16 October 2025 Sheffield City Council made the above Orders which come into operation on 20 October 2025 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Orders will be to introduce:

No waiting at any time on parts of Castle Square, Cross Burgess Street, Pinstone Street and Surrey Street
No Loading at any time on parts of Castle Square, Cross Burgess Street and Pinstone Street
Loading bay midnight – 18:00 on part of Norfolk Street
Loading bay at all times on parts of Pinstone Street
Loading bay midnight – 08:00 on part of Surrey Street
Blue badge holder parking place 18:00 - Midnight on part of Norfolk Street
Blue badge holder parking place 08:00 - 18:00 maximum stay 4 hours, no return within 4 hours on part of Surrey Street
Blue badge holder parking place 18:00 - midnight on part of Surrey Street
Bus Parking Place time limited to 20 minutes no return within 1 hour on part of Arundel Gate
One Way Traffic except for cycles on part of Leopold Street
And remove:

No Waiting At Any Time on part of Arundel Gate and Pinstone Street
No Loading At Any Time on part of Arundel Gate, Pinstone Street and Surrey Street
No loading Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 18:30 on part of Cross Burgess Street and Pinstone Street
Loading bay on parts of Pinstone Street and Surrey Street;
Paid-for Parking Place 08:00 to 20:30 on parts of Surrey Street
Disabled Persons’ badge holder parking place on part of Pinstone Street
Loading Place Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 18:30 on part of Norfolk Street and Surrey Street;
Taxi bay, no waiting except for taxis 18:30 to 08:00, on part of Surrey Street;

or examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders or any of their
provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 16 October 2025 make application for that purpose to the High Court.
