PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(MOUNTFORD LANE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the have made
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Mountford Lane at its
junctions with Nightingale Place and Central Avenue.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken on 17 October 2025, between the hours of
09:30 and 14:30.
The diversion route is: Mount Pleasant, Wellington Road,
Prouds Lane and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair of a defective
manhole frame and cover by STW.
