What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

B816 Seabegs Road, Bonnybridge from 07.30 hours on 20/10/25 until 16.00 hours on 31/10/25. The prohibition is to allow for drainage works to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily closes the B816 Seabegs Road from its junction with Greenhill Road to its junction with Dalnair Road
2. The alternative route is: A803, B802, B816 and vice versa.

Bantaskine Drive, Falkirk from 07.30 hours on 20/10/2025 until 17.00 hours on 22/10/2025. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.
1. This Order temporarily closes Bantaskine Drive junction from its Maggie Woods Loan to its junction with Bantaskine Road
2. The alternative route: Bantaskine Drive, Maggie Woods Loan, Derwent Avenue, Shannon Drive, Bantaskine Road and vice versa

C65 Bogend Road, Stenhousemuir from 00:01 on 20/10/25 until 23:59 on 21/11/25. The prohibition is to allow for Bridge repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes C65 Bogend Road, Stenhousemuir from a point adjacent to Blairs Farm in an easterly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Bogend Road, Hamilton Road, McIntyre Avenue, McCartney Road, A88, A9, Bogend Road or vice versa.

Drum Road, Bo'ness from 08:00 on 20/10/25 until 17:00 on 03/11/25. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Drum Road, Bo'ness from a point adjacent to Grahamsdyke Road in a westerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Drum Road, A993 or vice versa.

Duke Street, Denny from 07:30 hours on 20/10/25 until 17:00 hours on 22/10/25. The prohibition is to allow carriageway surfacing work to be carried out safely.
1. This Order temporarily closes Duke Street from its junction with Stirling Street to is junction with Broompark Gardens
2. Alternative Route is Duke Street – Nethermains Road(A872) – Stirling Street(A883) and vice versa.

Zetland Place, Skinflats from 07.30 hours on 20/10/2025 until 17.00 hours on 05/12/2025. The prohibition is to allow for footway upgrading works.
1. This Order temporarily closes Zetland Place, Skinflats, from its junction with Potter Place to its junction with Newton Avenue.
2. The alternative route: Newton Avenue, A905, Zetland Place and vice versa.

Eriskay Court & Gilsay Court, Hallglen from 07:30 hours on 22/10/2025 until 17:00 hours 24/10/2025, to allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.
1. This Order temporarily closes Eriskay Court & Gilsay Court, Hallglen from its junction with Westray Terrace to its road end.
2. The alternative route is: No alternative diversion route available - local access to be maintained as far as practically possible.

Myothill Road, Head of Muir from 07:30 hours on 23/10/25 until 17:00 hours on 25/10/25. The prohibition is to allow carriageway surfacing work to be carried out safely.
1. This Order temporarily closes Myothill Road from its junction with Garvald Road to its junction with Laxdale Drive
2. Alternative Route is Myothill Road, Blaefaulds Road, Castlerankine Road, Nethermains Road (A872) and vice versa.
