What is happening?

(MAPPED MOVING TRAFFIC PROHIBITIONS, RESTRICTIONS AND PROVISIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.4 - VARIOUS STREETS) (EXPERIMENTAL)
TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
The Council gives notice that it has made the following Experimental Traffic Order, which came in to force on the 9th October 2025. The general effects of the order are to prohibit the driving of motor vehicles on:
Bank Road at the junction with Mill Bank, Wellington.
Marlborough Road at the junction with Church Street, Hadley
for an experimental period of SIX months in order to determine the effects of Order.
The Council will consider in due course whether the provisions of the Experimental Order should be continued in force indefinitely.

may be inspected on request from 9am to 4pm

Any person wishing to object to the making of an Order for such indefinite continuation may do so, giving the grounds for the objection, in writing at the address given below within a period of six months from the 9th October 2025.
If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
