What is happening?
CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Churchill Road at
Wheatley in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to a foul sewer connection are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Wheatley Hall Road, Churchill Road.
Those residents and businesses directly affected by the works
will be notified of the scheme and access arrangements.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including
the 31st day of December 2025 or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said road have been

Location
Churchill Road, Wheatley from its most southern junction with
Wheatley Hall Road in a north-westerly direction for a distance of
17 meters.
Dates and Times
17:00hrs 31st October 2025 until 17:00hrs 7th November 2025.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although all
closures to be completed by the 31st December 2025.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Garden Lane at
Cadeby in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst carriageway patching works are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order. Those residents and businesses directly
affected by the works will be notified of the scheme and access
arrangements.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from parking in those lengths of Bank Street at
Mexborough in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst ground investigation works are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order. Those residents and businesses directly
affected by the works are to be notified of the scheme to include
access arrangements
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the parking restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of
the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Any
contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed by this
Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued and
the subsequent removal of a vehicle.

Location
Prohibit Parking on Bank Street, Mexborough between its
junction with Dolcliffe Road to its junction with Greens Way;
1) from a point 5 metres south east of its junction with the north
eastern kerbline of Dolcliffe Road for a distance of 36 metres in a
south easterly direction
2) from a point 47 metres south east of its junction with the north
eastern kerbline of Dolcliffe Road for a distance of 17 metres in a
south easterly direction.
3) from a point 70 metres south east of its junction with the north
eastern kerbline of Dolcliffe Road for a distance of 13 metres in a
south easterly direction
4) from a point 92 metres south east of its junction the north
eastern kerbline of Dolcliffe Road for a distance of 51 metres in a
south easterly direction.
5) from a point 158 metres south east of its junction with the
north eastern kerbline of Dolcliffe Road for a distance of 30
metres in a south easterly direction
Dates and Times
On or after 07:00hrs 27th October 2025 until 19:00hrs 3rd
November 2025.
These works will be undertaken in sections and the prohibition
will only be in place when required between the above dates. In
the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the parking prohibition may extend beyond this date,
however no later than the 30th November 2025.

(AMENDMENT NO. 151) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that on the 15th day of October 2025 the
City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the provisions of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the 20th
day of October 2025 will be to introduce a 50mph Speed Limit
on the following length of road:-
That length of the A638 Wakefield Road at Hampole which
extends from its junction with Wakefield Road, Adwick Le Street
at Redhouse Interchange for a distance of 3860 metres in a
north westerly direction to the Doncaster/Wakefield boundary
A copy of the Order and a map showing the restricted roads may
be examined at the Council Offices, Civic Office, Waterdale,
Doncaster between 8.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. Monday to Friday or
on the City of Doncaster Council Website via the following link

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the
provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within
the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984,
or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any
instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation
to the Order you may within six weeks from the 15th day of
October 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose. (PO986)
