(CLAYPATH LANE, SOUTH SHIELDS) ORDER 2025
On 15 October 2025 South Tyneside Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Order which comes into force on 20 October 2025 will REVOKE Limited Waiting, 2 hrs, no return within 2 hrs Mon-Fri 8am to 6pm on Claypath Lane, northwest side from a point 7m southwest of its junction with Percy St in a south westwards direction for 46m and No Waiting At Any Time and No Loading/Unloading At Any Time on Claypath Lane north side from its junction with A1018 Westoe Rd in a south westwards direction for 71m and east side from its junction with A194 Crossgate in a south eastwards then north eastwards direction for 74m. INTRODUCE No Waiting At Any Time and No Loading/Unloading At Any Time on Claypath Lane north side for its entire length. Full details are contained in the Order, which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm at the Town Hall, Westoe Road, South Shields, NE33 2RL. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any of the requirements of the Act or of any relevant regulations made under the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 15
October 2025 when the Order was made, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
