Lime Avenue - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
LIME AVENUE, STAVELEY
WHEN: 06 November to 07 November 2025 (07:00 to 18:00 each day)
WHERE: Lime Avenue, Staveley between its Jct. with the A619 Chesterfield Road to its Jct. with College Avenue.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A619 Chesterfield Road / Market Street, Inkersall Road, Lime Avenue and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
