What is happening?
Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
Notice is hereby given that Herefordshire Council made the PUBLIC BYWAY WC62, WHITCHURCH (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 temporarily closing the said footpath at OS Grid Reference SO 5537 1685 to SO 5541 1677. The closure is required due to erosion. The alternative route is via Ashes Lane, B4164 and Meeks Well Lane. Queries may be directed to prow@herefordshire.gov.uk
A copy of the order and plan may be seen at www.herefordshire.gov.ukThe Order came into operation on 7 October 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months (unless extended by the Secretary of State) or until any said works have been completed, (whichever is the earlier), or until determined by Herefordshire Council.
