(MAIN STREET, RESTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (Main Street, Reston)
(Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:30 on 23 October 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 27 October 2025. The Order is required for BT works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6438 at Main Street, Reston.
The alternative eastbound route for vehicles under 14 feet is via the B6438, B6437, A1 and B6438 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. (BLACKADDER CRESCENT, GREENLAW)
(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (Blackadder Crescent, Greenlaw) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 20 October 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:30 on 24 October 2025. The Order is required for SPEN access to sub-station with heavy machinery.
When the Order comes into effect, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on Blackadder Crescent, Greenlaw, from junction with the A6105 Duns Road for entire length of Blackadder Crescent.
