C1236 St Weonards, Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order:
C1236 From A466 St Weonards To Cluttin Road, St Weonards, Temporary Road Closure Order,
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1236 From A466 St Weonards To Cluttin Road, St Weonards, C1236 From A466. Grid Ref: 348231/224030. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Garway Road onto the C1234 Bagwyllydiart Farm onto the C1234 Little Hill Road onto the A466 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on
10th of November 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within
