Everingham Lane, Hayton - Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
EVERINGHAM LANE, HAYTON
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed/from proceeding on foot/
whether on foot, pedal cycle or on horseback along
Everingham Lane, Hayton. The reason for the closure
is to enable the proposed Everingham Lane, Hayton
works, to be carried out and completed in a manner
consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is
anticipated that the works will be completed within
one day. The alternative route for traffic affected by the
Order is via Everingham Lane, York Road, Hayton Layby,
Thorpe Le Street Road and Blamire Lane, Hayton CP,
Everingham CP, Wolds Weighton Ward. The road will be
closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times
to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties
directly affected by the closure and for emergency
services. The Order will commence 20 October 2025
between 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours and continue
in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or
until the works which it is proposed to carry out have
been completed, whichever is the earlier.
