Ealing Road, Wembley - Temporary Road and Footway Closures due to Crane Dismantling Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)

EALING ROAD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate dismantling a tower crane and associated works in Ealing Road, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to prohibit:

a) vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Ealing Road, which lies between the north-eastern kerb-line of Bridgewater Road and a point 25.00 metres north-east of that kerb-line;

b) pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of the north-western footway of Ealing Road, which lies between the north-eastern kerb-line of Bridgewater Road and a point 25.00 metres north-east of that kerb-line;

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above would apply from 26th October 2025 to 29th October 2025 and from 30th October 2025 to 2nd November 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 6.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. from 26th October 2025 to 29th October 2025, with the following dates being backup dates. Access to premises in or adjacent to Ealing Road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.

Pedestrians affected by the prohibitions referred to in (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
