TEMPORARY ONE WAY RESTRICTION VARIOUS ROADS (BIBURY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to restricted temporarily the direction of the traffic on the roads as described in the Schedule below.

The reason for the restriction is for safety during sewer mains replacement works.

The road was originally restricted for 5 days by Notice which commenced on the 24th September 2025. The works have not been completed and it has been necessary to make an Order. This Order can restrict the roads for up to 18 months from the date of the notice, or until the works have been completed. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY BSC 46 & UNCLASSIFIED HIGHWAY ROAD NUMBER 50929 (SOUTH CERNEY) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

PLEASE NOTE THIS NOTICE IS MADE IN ADDITION TO THE NOTICE ISSUED 14TH AUGUST 2025

Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to temporarily close under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of the footpaths as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

Part of Public Bridleway BSC 46 from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SU 07428/95272 extending in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 200 metres.

Part of the unclassified highway Road Number 50929 (Road from the street to country boundary near Hailstone House) from a point at OSGR SU 07419/95243 extending in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 200 metres.

The closure is necessary to protect the public whilst conveyor installation works are being undertaken.

The Order came into force on the 18th August 2025. However works were delayed and will now commence 13th October 2025 and it is anticipated that the Public Bridleway and Unclassified Highway will close on that day until 30th November 2025. However the Order can remain in effect for six months from 18th August 2025 should the works take longer than anticipated. After this time if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

The closure of the Public Bridleway and unclassified Highway will be phased so that only one section will be closed at a time. Advance warning signs will be displayed onsite to show when each section is to be closed.

Alternative Route

Public Bridleway – Via the parallel unclassified highway as shown on the order plan and signed on site.

Unclassified Highway – No through road for vehicles. The alternative route for pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be via the parallel public bridleway shown on the order plan and signed in site.

Emergency Service access and pedestrian access to adjoining premises will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 407141 BLACK JACK STREET (CIRENCESTER TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407141 Black Jack Street from its junction with Silver Street to outside the property known as ‘No. 9’ for a distance of approximately 21 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works to install overhead BT Fibre Cables.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (WITHINGTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for new electrical connection works.

The said roads are expected to be closed during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 27th October 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. This Order can permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 3rd November 2025. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 501464 THE FURLONGS TO BURDEN COURT FARM, TRESHAM (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 501464 The Furlongs to Burden Court Farm, Tresham from outside the property known as ‘Top Cottage’ to outside the property known as ‘Cotswold Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 60 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for water apparatus replacement works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 27th October 2025 until 29th October 2025 only or until the said works have been completed.
