Buckinghamshire, Stoke Mandeville/Downley - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, to allow for works to be carried out.
What is happening?
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE(Lower Rd, Stoke Mandeville) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Lower Rd for approx. 305M. Alternative route: Lower Rd, Station Rd, Wendover Rd, Stoke Rd, Mandeville Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst SEALR footway construction, street lighting and column installation works commence on 24 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 24 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Gosling Grove, Downley) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Gosling Grove for approx. 57M. The closure is required whilst sink hole investigation works commence on 27 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 27 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
