What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401410 ROWLEY (CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401410 Rowley from outside of the property known as ‘Wraggs Court’ to outside of the property known as No. 1’ for a distance of approximately 56 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for water pipe repair works on behalf of Severn Trent Water

The said road is expected to be closed from 13th October 2025 to 21st October 2025 or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 501440 WATERLEY BOTTOMS TO COOMBE HILL,

NORTH NIBLEY (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 501440 Waterley Bottoms to Coombe Hill, North Nibley from outside of the property known as ‘Panswood’ to outside of the property known as ‘Apple Tree Farm’ for a distance of approximately 450 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for infrastructure maintenance works by Gigaclear

The said road is expected to be closed on 15th October 2025 only. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the roads as detailed in the schedule below.

The reason for the said closures is for carriageway patching works.

The said roads are expected to be closed from 31st October 2025, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether they are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. This Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that all works will be completed by 31st August 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4058 OLD TOWN

(WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4058 Old Town from outside of the property known as No.25 Old Town to outside of the property known as No.7 Old Town for a distance of approximately 90 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs daily from 27th October 2025 to 30th October 2025 or until the works have been completed.

However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE A4135 ROAD AND FOOTWAY, WOODMANCOOTE

(DURSLEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A4135 Woodmancote Road and Footway from its junction with St Marks Rise to its junction with Uley Road for a distance of approximately 74 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for safety during pole replacement.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 on 30th October 2025 only or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the length of roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the said closures and restrictions is for carriageway resurfacing works.

There will be no waiting, stopping or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 20th October 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order may permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required.

It is anticipated all works will be completed by 28th October 2025.
