Heatherstone Avenue/Arnwood Avenue, Hythe And Dibden, New Forest - Temporary Road Closure due to overhead poling works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: 1) that part of Heatherstone Avenue between its junction with Armitage Avenue and its junction with Corbould Road 2) that part of Arnwood Avenue between its junction with Heatherstone Ave and a point approximately 43 metres southeast thereof
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: 1) Heatherstone Avenue, Armitage Avenue, Crete Road, Courbould Road, 2) Arnwood Avenue, Beverley Road, Heatherstone Avenu
e DURATION OF ORDER: from 27th October 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working part time between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30) The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out overhead poling works.
