Bank Street, Bishops Waltham, Winchester - Temporary Road Closure due to frame and cover replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Bank Street between its junction with Houchin Street and its junction with Free Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: 1) High Street, Cross Street, Brook Street, Lower Lane, B3035, Lower Lane, Free Street 2) Free Street, Lower Lane, B3035
DURATION OF ORDER: from 27th October 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working part time between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00.)
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Lanes Group Ltd to carry out frame and cover replacement. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: aixa.sala@lanesgroup.co.uk Lanes Group Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
