Church Bank Road, Micheldever, Winchester - Temporary Road Closure due to fibre optic cable works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Church Bank Road between its junction with A33 London Road and its junction with Stratton Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Stratton Lane, Main Road, A33 London Road, Basingstoke Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 27th October 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for OCU Group to complete fibre optic cable works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: BDUKHampshireStreetworks@ocugroup.com.
