Haccups Lane, Michelmersh & Timsbury, Test Valley - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Haccups Lane between its junction with Manor Farm Lane and its junction with Yew Tree Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Haccups Lane, New Road, Hill View Road, A3057, Staff Road, Yew Tree Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 29th October 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Connect It Utility Services to complete electric utility works.
