Abbotts Ann Road, Abbotts Ann, Test Valley - Temporary Road Closure due to manhole cover replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Abbotts Ann Road between its junction with Dunkirt Lane and continuing to a point 200 metres West on Abbotts Ann Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Little Ann Road, Salisbury Road, Andover Bypass, Monxton Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 29th October 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:00).
