What is happening?
ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL
C39B - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C39B - U52B to C38B 21.10.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 21.10.25 for 7 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the on the C39B from the U52B to the C38B.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during ducting works. An alternative route is available via the C38B, C56B, A950, Coopers Brae, Longside, Inn Brae, C39B and vice versa.
