Gravesham, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

 

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 

GRAVESHAM AREA

 

Alfred Road, Gravesend, DA11 7QB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Alfred Road, Gravesend, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Alfred House.

The alternative route is via Alfred Road, Mead Road, Cross Lane West and vice versa.

 

All Saints Road, Northfleet, DA11 8RY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPEND ONE WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of All Saints Road, Northfleet, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed. The One Way Order will be suspended to allow access.

The road will be closed between numbers 90 and 92.

The alternative route is via All Saints Road, B261 Dover Road East/Old Road West, Pelham Road South, Perry Street and vice versa.

 

Campbell Road, Gravesend, DA11 0JD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Campbell Road, Gravesend, on or after 20th October 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between numbers 26 and 46.

The alternative route is via Campbell Road, Lennox Road, Pelham Road, Granville Road and vice versa.

 

Dean Lane, Gravesend, DA13 0BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dean Lane, Gravesend, on or after 22nd October 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Cedar Mount.

The alternative route is via Chandlers Road, Priestwood Road, David Street, Harvel Street and vice versa.

 

Dean Lane, Meopham DA13 0BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of an electrical service upgrade, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dean Lane, Meopham, on or after 20th October 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Azila.

The alternative route is via Dean Lane, Chandlers Road, Priestwood Road, Horns Oak Road, Whitehill Road, Foxendown Lane, Oakenden Road, Dean Road and vice versa.

 

Henley Street, Luddesdown, DA13 0XB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Henley Street, Luddesdown, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Glen Cottage, 6.

The alternative route is via Henley Street, Luddesdown Road, Cobhambury Road, The Street, Sole Street, Gold Street and vice versa.

 

Lingfield Road, Gravesend, DA12 5AF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lingfield Road, Gravesend, on or after 20th October 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 10.

The alternative route is via Lingfield Road, Singlewell Road, Cross Lane East, Central Avenue and vice versa.

 

Springhead Road, Northfleet, DA11 9QZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Springhead Road, Northfleet, on or after 20th October 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Pump Houses - side of no 101.

The alternative route is via Springhead Road, A226 Thames Way, B2175 Stonebridge Road, B2175 High Street, B2175 The Hill and vice versa.
