Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Belchamps Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 60m north west of its junction with Hill Avenue for a distance of approximately 55m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th November 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2390629 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while kerb line repair and footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Belchamps Road, Rubicon Avenue, Whist Avenue, Beauchamps Drive, Hill Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th October 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brempsons, Ghyllgrove in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Rokells for a distance of approximately 60m in a south westerly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd November 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2387276 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway and kerb reconstruction works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Danbury Down, Fryerns in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Maplestead to its junction with Wellstyle Green, a distance of approximately 65m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd November 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WG0PVP6J – Openreach). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mount Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 45m north east of its junction with Southend Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oak Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Hardings Elm Road for a distance of approximately 875m in a south easterly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Salcott Crescent, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon from its junction with Twinstead to its junction with Iona Way a distance of approximately 50m.

Phase 1: To temporarily close that length of Hockley Rise, Hawkwell in the District of Rochford from its junction with Southend Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a south westerly direction.
