What is happening?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
Cotton Lane, Greenhithe, DA9 9BF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the installation of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cotton Lane, Greenhithe, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Lodges.
The alternative route is via Cotton Lane, Elizabeth Street, Church Hill, Stone Place Road, A226 London Road, B2228 Cotton Lane and vice versa.
Footpath - Instone Road & A226 Lowfield Street, Dartford DA1 1EW (PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow a compulsory gas pipe to be replaced, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit pedestrian traffic on part of Instone Road and A226 Lowfield Street, Dartford, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 28 days or until the works have been completed.
The footpath will be closed from Instone Road to side of 33 A226 Lowfield Street.
Linden Avenue, Dartford, DA1 2QJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Linden Avenue, Dartford, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 2.
The alternative route is via Laburnum Avenue, Rowan Crescent and vice versa.
St James Lane, Greenhithe, DA9 9DX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of resurfacing works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of St James Lane, Greenhithe, between 20.00hrs and 06.00hrs from 20th October 2025, with estimated completion by 25th October 2025 or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Louvain Road and A296 Watling Street.
The alternative route is via A296/B2500 Watling Street, A226 The Brent/London Road, Hedge Place Road, St James Lane and vice versa.
