(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) (NO.22) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the lengths of road specified in the attached Schedule.

Suitable diversion routes will be indicated on site by the display of relevant traffic signs as and when the temporary closures are in force.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 3rd November 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required for 2 month and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Alternative Route: via Green Lane, Church Road and the unrestricted section of Vicarage Lane.

2. Boarbank Lane, Allithwaite – Start Date 10th November 2025 – Approx. duration 5 days

(Ref: TTROW/16154) From its junction with Locker Lane, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 255m.

Alternative Route: via the U5166, C5040, C5041, U5164 and the unrestricted section of Boarbank Lane.

3. Templands Lane, Allithwaite – Start Date 17th November 2025 – Approx. duration 5 days

(Ref: TTROW/16155) From its junction with Templands Lane, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 340m.

Alternative Route: via Boarbank Lane, Green Lane, Cartmel Road and the unrestricted section of Templands Lane.

4. Wart Barrow Lane, Allithwaite – Start Date 10th November 2025 – Approx. duration 3 days

(Ref: TTROW/16162) From its junction with Locker Lane, extending in a northwesterly direction for approx. 50m.

Alternative Route: via the C5040, C5042 Haggs Lane and the unrestricted section of Carter Barrow Lane.

5. Wraysholme Lane, Flookburgh – Start Date 10th November 2025 – Approx. duration 3 days

(Ref: TTROW/16163) From its junction with the B5277 Allithwaite Road, extending in an easterly direction for approx. 670m.

Alternative Route: via the B5277 Allithwaite Road, C5044 Moor Lane, U5168 Willow Lane and the unrestricted section of Wraysholme Lane.

6. Park View and Cavendish Street, Cartmel – Start Date 10th November 2025 – Approx. duration 6 days
