Moser Hill Brow, Sedbergh - Temporary Road Closure due to Utility Works

(C5101 MOSER HILL BROW, NEAR SEDBERGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic (i.e. vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists), from proceeding along that section of the C5101 Moser Hill Brow, near Sedbergh from its junction with Mill Lane, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 160 metres.

A suitable alternative route for all traffic will be signed and available via Mill Lane, U5475 and the unrestricted section of the C5101 Moser Hill Brow.

The Order will come into operation on 28th October 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 3 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
