Vicarage Court & Tipton Road , Dudley - Temporary Road Traffic Restrictions & Suspension Of Cycle Lanes

What is happening?

DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Orders,

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Vicarage Court,
Amblecote) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding on Vicarage Court, Amblecote, for the purpose of installation of a new
water supply being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 30.10.2025 and will remain in force until 04.11.2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. No diversion as affected road is a cul-de-sac.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lanes
and Temporary Prohibition of Right Turn) (Tipton Road, Dudley) Order 2025 the
effect of which is to temporarily suspend the southbound cycle lane in place on
Tipton Road, Dudley (from the junction of Birmingham New Road to outside no.18 Tipton Road) and to temporarily prohibit vehicles from turning right from Tipton Road into Birmingham New Road. The purpose of the restrictions is to safely facilitate the installation of a HV cable being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 27.10.2025 and will remain in force until 09.11.2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Dudley Road, Sedgley Road West, Sedgley Road, and Birmingham New Road. No diversion is required for cycle lane traffic.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
