What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(ALDERSLEY ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Aldersley Road footway outbound between the junction of Lower Street and property 53.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of six months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 22 October 2025 until 7 November 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00.
Pedestrian diversion route: Lower Street, Lowlands Avenue and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate footway surface treatment works by CWC.
