What is happening?

Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Granville
Road, Upper Bar, Station Road, Granville Avenue, Ashworth Way, Newport
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, whilst highway improvement works are being
undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 20/10/25 between the
hours of 17:00pm and 23:59pm.

The following roads are affected: Granville Rd, from its jcn with Upper Bar to its jcn with Wellington Rd. Upper Bar from its jcn with Granville Ave for approx. 68m in a north westerly direction. Station Rd from its jcn with Granville Ave for approx. 80m in a south easterly direction. Granville Ave from its jcn with Upper Bar for approx. 20m in a north easterly direction. Ashworth Way from its jcn with Granville Rd to its jcn with Aspen Way. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 25/10/25. Alternative routes will be signed on site.
