Jackfield & Coalford Memorial Bridge - Temporary Prohibiton of Pedestrians
What is happening?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin Footpath 116
(Jackfield & Coalford Memorial Bridge), Jackfield (Temporary Prohibition of
Pedestrians) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst
Bridge safety and investigation works are being undertaken. The order
becomes operational from the 13/10/25. The following footpath is affected:
Footpath 116 (Jackfeld & Coalford Memorial Bridge), Jackfield from its jcn
with Ferry Rd for approx 60ms in a north easterly direction.
The maximum duration is 6 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 19/12/25. Alternative routes will be signed on site. Anthea Lowe, Director:
