NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF ORDER
SECTION 14 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH CL14/7, GREENHOUSE LANE, NEMPNETT THRUBWELL) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

Notice is given that the order made by Bath and North East Somerset Council on 17th April 2025 will be continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of her powers under section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order will continue in force until the completion of the works to which the order relates, or until 31 December 2025, whichever is the earlier.

The effect of which will be to continue to close the section of Public Footpath CL14/7 commencing from a junction with Greenhouse Lane at ST51966342 and proceeding in a generally ESE direction for approx 759m to a junction with Public Footpath CL14/9 at ST52596306.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant will be carrying out solar farm construction works.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Greenhouse Lane - Public Footpath CL14/9. Vice Versa.
