What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

B979 – TEMPORAY 20MPH SPEED LIMIT

“The Aberdeenshire Council (B979 - 15.10.25) (Temporary 20mph Speed Limit) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The order will operate from 15.10.25 for 64 weeks and will introduce a 20mph speed limit on the B979 From Mains of Ury until Sunnyside.

The temporary speed limit is necessary in the interests of public safety during works to lay/repair water mains.
