Park Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Bridge Inspection Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL PARK LANE, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of railway bridge inspection works proposed to be executed on or near Park Lane, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Park Lane for approximately 20 metres either side of the railway bridge.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Park Lane (unaffected section), Parkwood Street, Thwaites Bridge, Wenning Street, Aire Valley Road, Bradford Road, East Parade, Coney Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 20:00 hours on the 20th October 2025 and remain in force until 06:00 hours on the 21st October 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
