Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along; Silk Mills Road (Cycle Lane) - from the junction with Bishops Hull Hill to the junction with Heron Drive and Silk Mills Road (Suspension of Bus Lane) - from the junction with Heron Drive, southwards for a distance of 40 metres. A total distance of 132 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to replace a pole. The Order becomes effective on 9th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 19th October 2025 and last until 19th October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 14:00 for a total of 6 hours.
