What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL BANCHORY – TEMPORARY CLOSURE

“The Aberdeenshire Council (Arbeadie Road, Banchory – 13.10.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The order will operate from 13.10.25 for a period of 12 days and will prohibit any person from driving on Arbeadie Road, Banchory from the junction with Grant Road to the junction with Ramsay Road. Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.

The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during works to form a new zebra crossing. An alternative route is available via Arbeadie Road, Woodside Road, Raemoir Road, Station Road, Arbeadie Road and vice versa.
