Hope Corner Lane, Taunton - Temporary Road Closure due to Water Meter Replacement

Temporary Closure of Hope Corner Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Hope Corner Lane - from the junction with Glenwood Gardens, eastwards for a total distance of 67 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to replace a meter.
The Order becomes effective on 23rd October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.
The works are expected to commence on 27th October 2025 and last until 31st October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days. Visit https://one.network/?tm=GB145344319 for further information on the alternative route.
