Innes Street - Highway Clearway Order Due to Parking Issues to Comply With the Newly Created Traffic

What is happening?

THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MIDDLESBROUGH
(INNES STREET) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

The Council of the Borough of Middlesbrough gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and any other enabling powers over an area of the highway being a clearway order on the northern lengths of Innes Street as shown on the order plan due to parking issues to comply with the newly created traffic regulation order in this location.

The order is scheduled to come into operation on Monday 20th October 2025. The Order may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The clearway order will not at any time prevent access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the road, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, the road.
