NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Hertfordshire District Council (pursuant to arrangement made with Hertfordshire County Council) has made the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The general effect of the Order will be to introduce Permit Parking Places along the eastern side of Rushby Mead, Letchworth between house numbers 114 and 150 and a Restriction of Waiting, along the western side, in line with same house numbers as above and as described in the Schedules to this Notice.

The above named Order will come into force on 6th November 2025.

Copies of the Order, the plan and the statement of reasons may be inspected during normal office hours (by appointment only) at the offices of: North Hertfordshire District Council, Gernon Road, Letchworth and on the Council's website at: www.north-herts.oov.uk. Ref: MH/25/00043/TRO/ RUSHBY MEAD.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is published may apply to the High Court for this purpose.

SCHEDULE 1

Rushby Mead, Letchworth - No waiting 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.

SCHEDULE 2

(1) On the west side

(2) From a point in line with the boundary of 114 and 116 Rushby Mead in a southerly direction for a distance of 115 metres to the southern boundary of no' 150.

SCHEDULE 3

Rushby Mead, Letchworth- Permit Holders Zone D only, 10:00am – 11:00am & 4:00pm – 5:00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.

SCHEDULE 4

(1) On the east side

(2) From a point in line with the boundary of 114 and 116 Rushby Mead in a southerly direction for a distance of 115 metres to the southern boundary of no' 150.
