TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
(PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH 72, WALTHAM) ORDER 2025(2)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to close Public Footpath 72 Waltham are:
*Public Footpath 72 at Waltham from Grid Reference TA525126, 403306 to Grid Reference TA525292, 403124.
An alternative route will be available locally.
The closure will commence at 07.00hrs on Thursday 9 th October 2025.
The reason for the closure is to prevent the likelihood of risk to public safety due to development taking place in relation to Planning Permission DM/1167/16/FUL.
The Order will come into operation on the Thursday 9 th October 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier).
A copy of the Order and Order Plan may be inspected at the Municipal Offices, Town Hall Square, Grimsby during normal office hours. For further information, you may, if you wish, telephone (01472) 324789 for an explanation of the proposals.
