What is happening?

Salford City Council proposes to make the CITY OF SALFORD (CHELTENHAM STREET AND FREDERICK ROAD) (NO WAITING AT ANY TIME, LOADING / UNLOADING PARKING PLACES AND PROHIBITION OF FOOTWAY PARKING) ORDER 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME: Cheltenham Street (i) south west side, from Frederick Road north westerly for 74m (ii) north east side, from Frederick Road north westerly for 30m (iii) north east side, from 51m north west of Frederick Road north westerly for 20m

PROHIBITION OF PARKING ON FOOTWAY AT ALL TIMES: Footway on Frederick Road, south east side, from 3m south west of Strawberry Road, south westerly for 23m Footway on Cheltenham Street, north east side, from 30m north west of Frederick Road, north westerly for 21m

GOODS VEHICLE LOADING/UNLOADING PARKING PLACE AT ALL TIMES ON ALL DAYS: Cheltenham Street, north east side, from 30m north west of Frederick Road, north westerly for 21m with a width of 2.7m

VEHICLE LOADING/UNLOADING PARKING PLACE AT ALL TIMES ON ALL DAYS: Frederick Road, south east side from 3m south west of Strawberry Road south westerly for 23m with a width of 2.3m

A copy of the proposed Order, the Statement of Reasons and plans showing the proposals may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
