What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF ENFIELD

PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF A SCHOOL STREET ZONE FOR FIRS FARM PRIMARY SCHOOL AND HIGHFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO PRESCRIBED ROUTES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make The Enfield (Prescribed Routes) (School Streets) (No. ) Traffic Order 202* under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

1. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a ban on motor vehicles except permit holders during term-time on Mondays to Fridays:

(1) Firs Farm Primary School (PCZ 25) from 8.30am to 9.30am and 3pm to 4pm from entering:

(a) Harlow Road, the entire length,

(b) Harrison Terrace, between the junction of The Fairway and Kipling Terrace,

(c) Kipling Terrace, the entire length,

(d) Rayleigh Close, the entire length,

(e) Rayleigh Road, the entire length,

(f) The unnamed cul-de-sac between Nos. 10 and 11 Kipling Terrace, for the entire length,

(g) Minor increase in waiting restrictions on (a) Harlow Road, (b) Harrison Terrace, and (c) Rayleigh Road.

(2) Highfield Primary School (PCZ 27) 8.30am to 9.15am and 2.45pm to 3.45pm:

(a) Highfield Road, the entire length,

(b) Cedars Road, the entire length,

(c) Christine Worsley Close, the entire length,

(d) Highfield Road, between a point opposite the western boundary of No. 2 Highfield Road and the junction of Farm Road,

(e) Stanbridge Place, the entire length.

Any vehicle that is already in those length of roads listed in paragraph 1 before the pedestrian and cycle zone commences will be permitted to leave.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make The Enfield (20 mph Speed Limit) (No. ) Traffic Order 202* under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

1. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on: (a) Harrison Terrace (part), and (b) Kipling Terrace.

2. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving particulars about them can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am – 5pm, inclusive, or online at: https://new.enfield.gov.uk/services/roads-and-transport/traffic-management-orders/ or can also be obtained by emailing journeysandplaces@enfield.gov.uk or by writing to the Journeys and Places Team (quoting reference TG52/1600) Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD.

3. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make any other representations must do so by midnight on 24th October 2025, any such objection or any representation must be in writing, quoting reference TG52/1600, and must state the grounds on which it is made. Objections or representations can be made in any of the following ways:
