Cafodd y Gorchymyn uchod ei wneud ar 1af Hydref 2025 o dan Adran 257 y Ddeddf Cynllunio Tref a Gwlad 1990.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd gwyro darn o Lwybr Cyhoeddus Rhif 19, i’r gogledd o Fferm Uplands, Pontnewydd yng nghymuned Cwmbrân sy’n dechrau wrth ei gyffordd â Llwybr Cyhoeddus Rhif 15 (GR ST 2877 9786), i’r de o Old Bevans Lane. Mae wedyn yn mynd i gyfeiriad gorllewinol am 125 metr neu tua hynny, i gyfeiriad i’r de am 35 metr neu tua hynny ac yna i gyfeiriad gorllewinol am 267 metr neu tua hynny hyd at ei gyffordd â Llwybr Cyhoeddus Rhif 20 a Llwybr Cyhoeddus Rhif 22 yn GR ST 2836 9784. Cyfanswm hyd y llwybr sydd i’w gwyro yw 302 metr neu tua hynny ac fe’i dangosir ar Fap y Gorchymyn fel llinell ddu drwchus o A - B. Mae gan y llwybr wyneb naturiol.

Bydd llwybr amgen yn cael ei greu a fydd yn dechrau wrth ei gyffordd gyda Llwybr Troed 15 Cwmbrân (GR ST 2877 9786), i’r de o Old Bevans Lane. Bydd yn mynd i gyfeiriad gorllewinol-gogleddol-gorllewinol am 241 metr ble bydd yn ymuno â Llwybr Cyhoeddus Rhif 20 (GR ST 2843 9789). Hyd y llwybr amgen yw tua 210 metr ac fe’i dangosir ar Fap y Gorchymyn fel llinell ddu doredig o C – D. Bydd gan y llwybr troed newydd wyneb graean a bydd yn 2 fetr o led.

NOTICE OF MAKING A PUBLIC PATH ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

SECTION 257

TORFAEN COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

DIVERSION OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 19 CWMBRAN (PART)

AT UPLANDS FARM, PONTNEWYDD, CWMBRAN

The above Order was made on 1st October 2025 under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

The effect of the Order will be to divert a section of Public Footpath No. 19, north of Uplands Farm, Pontnewydd in the Community of Cwmbran which commences at its junction with Public Footpath No 15 (GR ST 2877 9786), south of Old Bevans Lane. It then proceeds in a westerly direction for 125 metres or thereabouts, a southerly direction for 35 metres or thereabouts then a westerly direction for 267 metres or thereabouts to its junction with Public Footpath No 20 and Public Footpath No 22 at GR ST 2836 9784. The total length of the path to be diverted is 302 metres or thereabouts and is shown on the Order Map as a bold black line from A – B. The path has a natural surface.

An alternative route will be created which will commence at its junction with Footpath 15 Cwmbran (GR ST 2877 9786), south of Old Bevans Lane. It will proceed in a west-north-westerly direction for 241 metres where it joins with Public Footpath No. 20 (GR ST 2843 9798). The length of the alternative route is approximately 210 metres and is shown on the Order Map as a dashed black line from C – D. The new footpath will have a hoggin surface and will be 2 metres wide.

before 5th November 2025. Please quote the reference CH/23131 in all correspondence.

If no representations are duly made, or if so made are withdrawn, Torfaen County Borough Council may confirm the order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the National Assembly for Wales for Confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
