Beer Drove - Temporary Road Closure To Replace Culvert

Temporary Closure of Beer Drove
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Beer Drove - from the junction with Turnhill Road, eastwards for a total distance of 393 metres.
This Order will enable J.D Pope and Sons Ltd to replace culvert to prevent flooding on behalf of Parrett Drainage Board.
The Order becomes effective on 23rd October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 27th October 2025 and last until 14th November 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 19 days.
