Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025Hurst Road, Bexley - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable highway improvement works by a council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley for the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Hurst Road from the junction with Parkwood Road to the junction with Bexley High Street, Bexley

    • No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) in Hurst Road from the junction with Parkwood Road to the junction with Bexley High Street, Bexley

  2. The Order will come into effect on 15 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via,

    • Park Hill Road, Bridgen Road, Blendon Road, Penhill Road, Hurst Road and Reverse

    • Bexley High Street, North Cray Road, Maidstone Road, Foots Cray High Street, Sidcup Hill, Sidcup High Street, Station Road, Hatherley Crescent, Faraday Avenue, Bexley Lane, Foots Cray Lane, Hurst Road

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025Crayford Creek Road and Thames Road, Crayford - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable SMOP Clean Tech on behalf of Aurora Utilities to install electrical ducting to feed new commercial site, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic on Crayford Creek Road, Crayford from railway bridge to the junction with Thames Road, Crayford

    • Removal of the no entry restriction and one way restriction allowing two-way traffic in Thames Road to Footpath 25 Byway 103

    • Speed Deduction on Thames Road from 40mph to 30mph. Restrictions to be removed when not required.

  2. The Order will come into effect on 17 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be provided.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025Gladeswood Road, Belvedere - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable a water main replacement by Morrison Water Services on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) for the entire length of Gladeswood Road, Belvedere

    • No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) for the entire length of Gladeswood Road, Belvedere

  2. The Order will come into effect on 16 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 60 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,

    • Halt Robin Road, Lower Park Road, Picardy Road, Lower Road and reverse

    • Thornton Road Bridge Road, Halt Robin Road, Lower Park Road, Picardy Road Lower Road and reverse

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025Blenheim Drive, Welling - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Morrison Water Services on behalf of Thames Water to undertake a new connection outside and opposite 29 Blenheim Drive, Welling, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic on Blenheim Drive, Welling from the junction with 27 to 29 Blenheim Drive, Welling

  2. The Order will come into effect on 13 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

    • Blenheim Drive, Chaucer Road, Wickham Street, and reverse

    • Blenheim Drive, Chaucer Road, Edison Road, and reverse

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

    • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Manor Way at the junction with Hurst Road, Bexley

    • No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) in Manor Way at the junction with Hurst Road, Bexley

  2. The Order will come into effect on 15 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,

    • Manor Way, Salisbury Road and reverse

    • Manor Way, Glenhurst Avenue and reverse

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
