What is happening?

THE BOROUGH OF STOCKTON-ON-TEES (TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)(A67 HIGH STREET, YARM) ORDER 2014 AMENDMENT NO.3 ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 45, 46, 53 & Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act. The Order will have the effect of amending existing restrictions to amend the designated parking area and loading bay, and introduce no waiting and no loading restrictions from 4am to 6pm on any day along A67 High Street, Yarm (east side), from a point approximately 34 metres north of its junction with Central Street in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 6 metres. Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the affected roads and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the Stockton Customer Service Centre, Central Library, The Square, Stockton-on-Tees during normal office hours and on the Council’s website (Traffic Orders). If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to Highway Network and Traffic Team Leader, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, Dunedin House, Columbia Drive, Thornaby, TS17 6BJ or HTD@ Stockton.gov.uk by 30th October 2025.
