A515 ST JOHN STREET, MARKET PLACE, ASHBOURNE
WHEN: 27 October to 01 November 2025 (19:00 to 05:00 each night)
WHERE: A515 St John Street, Market Place, Ashbourne between King Street Jct. and St John Street Jct.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: HGV Diversion: A515, A5012, B5036 The Hill Cromford, B5035 Carsington, Cokayne Avenue, Park Road, Sturston Road, Station Street, Station Road and vice versa. Diversion: A515, King Street, B5035, The Green road, Cokayne Avenue, Park Road, Sturston Road, Station Street, Station Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
