Warminster Road and Lanes End Hill - Temporary Road Closure To Poling Works

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Warminster Road and Lanes End Hill

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Warminster Road - from the junction with Friggle Street, eastwards incorporating Lanes End Hill, for a total distance of 1717 metres.

This Order will enable Openreach to carry out poling works. Closure will be in force between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.

The Order becomes effective on 23rd October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 27th October 2025 and last until 27th October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
