Church Hill - Temporary Road Closure To Relining Works

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Church Hill

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Church Hill - from the junction with Frome Road, southwards for a total distance of 98 metres.

This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out relining works.

The Order becomes effective on 23rd October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 30th October 2025 and last until 30th October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 9 hours.
