What is happening?

TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 20--
NOTICE is given that Sunderland City Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 33, 35 – 35C, 99-102 and 122 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, by virtue of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act. The effect of the proposed order will be to introduce paid for parking places in the St Peter’s Metro Station Car Park on Sheepfolds Road. The classes of permitted vehicles are Passenger vehicles, Motor cycles, Invalid Carriages and Goods vehicles not in excess of 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight and charges will be applicable all days except Christmas day and for all hours at a charge of 60p per hour or part thereof or £3.50 per day. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be inspected during normal opening hours at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland SR1 3AA, until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to proceed to make the Order.
